From what I read and hear he's actually doing very well money wise. He just misses the sport. Morales has always stated he was born to box.

he's not broke, made plenty in his career and invested well, still making money from his promotion company and boxing magazine

his job as head of sports and recreation in Tijuana is basically done for free, he donates his paycheck to be able to help run it

Eric should stay retired if he does not need the money. Nothing to be gained except the ego trip.

A grudge match with MAB would be his best option, maybe at 140. Anything else is stupid. Does he expect to be champion again, and in a loaded welterweight division. I would actually like to see Morrales and Barrera mix it up one more time.

IMO he should stay retired, has nothing to prove and is only looking to end up hurt which is something i wouldn't wanna see
