My old man is a bit of a tight arse and nearly had heart attack at the prices over there. We're talking very early 90's when we went and my Dad reckons it was £3 a pint then.

Why would they care if there were some British fans there? The support would still be overwhelmingly in favor of Kessler and British money is just as good as Danish money.

On another note just picking up on what Adam has said, it's quite insane really. If this was a fight being made outside of the Super Six, Kessler and his team would be laughed out of the negotiations to hold all the cards the way they are now!!

Froch is the unbeaton fighter with the WBC strap Kessler is the fighter who just got a little exposed in his last fight and brings no title to the table.

Hats off to Froch id say 90% of fighters would tell Kessler and his team to fuck off when deciding where this fight takes place.

i said all along the outcome of this fight would play largely on where in took place. Middle of denmark with a hostile crowd is a totally different ball game to a sold out MEN/Nottingham arena.

One thing you can say about froch is that to date he hasnt ducked a single challenge in his career and is prepared to achieve the ultimate goals in this sport the hard way. Still think that home advantage plus the fact froch wont be allowed to nut kessler out of the fight ala:andre ward will lead to a kessler win

Totally true and I give him credit for it. I am loath to admit it, but if he beats Kessler he may be the #1 smw in the world. Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell, and Kessler? That's quite a cv. Reason enough for Calzaghe to step out of retirement and fight him.
