    Thanks for the reply!

I have been training for a while (first for fitness, until I got sucked in to the fun of boxing), but yeah, I'm a newbie to the actual fights. Hence all the questions :P

Thank you for your advice. I think you're right in the fact that I should do what I've been taught. Circling away from his right makes the most sense. Your other option intrigues me, though. If done properly, it may prove to be quite viable. I'm fairly light on my feet, but I may not be quick enough to avoid some of this guy's shots.

    Thanks again!

No problem. Dont take too much notice of some of my more out of norm ideas though. Good to play around with if you are very secure with your own skills ; very comfortable in the fight but probably trouble other wise.

Hey guys, just wanted to say thanks for the advice and tips. I won the fight. I got under his guard in the 2nd round and dropped him with a hook to the liver

    Thanks again!

Nice one m8 congrats on the win, how was the nerves of the night? im quite a shy person i have my first fight in june and im dreading all the people watching i have fought tournaments and stuff as a kid but there was usually 6-8 fights going on at once which is quite different to being in a ring in the centre of the room lol.

    Thanks Wayne, much appreciated.

In regards to nerves, I tried to stay calm before the fight. I didn't really notice the other people one I got in the ring. I just tried to focus on my opponent and drown everything else out. Seemed to work.

    Good luck for your fight
