I think there needs to be level playing field in sport and since everyone can't be drug tested all the time, i actually think performance enhancers should be legalised.

Imagine the Olympics with every athlete on roids. It would be awesome. Imagine seeing female runners with big square jaws and fencers having to deal with roid rage? Imagine seeing the shot put flying out of the stadium?

    It would be class.

Someone was saying at my work we should have 2 Olympics for the 'roid guys and one for the regular guys.

We could have the Women's Mustache Hurdles, the Shrunken Ball Decathalon, and the 'Roid Rage swimming. Nah, better just leave the pot heads to do all the good swimming.

Yeah, I think DLH just got caught in the moment about Margarito. What Margarito leaves a disgusting feeling to a lot of people. Imagine if you were Cotto. I don't agree that all cheating warrants a lifetime ban though. I do agree that loading gloves should be a lifetime ban. PEDs should be something like a harsh fine with about a 5 year ban.

He is a promoter and he will criticise other opponents with different promoters but he will have fighter that will end up doing the same.

De La Hoya carries himself well with the public speaking, but he's not near as sharp as people seem to think he is.

Regarding performance enhancing drugs, Shane Mosley's already been mentioned, but how come no suspicions about Golden Boy Promotions' Bernard Hopkins ?
Pretty amazing that a man of his age has been able to go so high in weight at an advanced age and still defeat top fighters.

Or Golden Boys new acquisition, David Haye, who's come up from Cruiserweight and is now a Heavyweight belt holder.
Quite the physique on Haye, quite a bit bigger than he used to be and still with zippo body-fat.

    Hey, make no mistake:
I'm a HUGE fan of all 3 of these warriors, but with so much drug talk from Golden Boy about Pacquiao, why no drug talk about his guys, Mosley, Hopkins, and Haye who've added a lot more beef than Pacquiao's 4 pounds in 4 years.

Or even Golden Boys venture into MMA co-promoting Affliction which folded in August amidst a steroid scandal involving Josh Barnett.
First choice to replace Barnett to fight Fedor was The Phenom Vitor Belfort who also has a positive steroid test in his background.

De La Hoya's just bitter because he'll never get the fan-support of the Mexicans which he so desperately craves, and instead of looking in the mirror at the guy who concede on his stool, he blames Pacquiao instead.

Hey, it was his own foolish decision to fight Pacquiao who was like half his size anyway; if he wanted to finally earn the respect of the Mexican people, he should have fought Tony Margarito instead and went out on his shield.

^Well to be fair, Oscar is going to go down as one of the most watched fighters, having one of the highest buy rates & being one half of the most bought fight in the history of the sport. So even if the Mexican people don't like him, there are alot of others who do.

Well shit, as much as I like Mosley, I'd have to agree with him. I wouldn't miss Mosley if I knew we were watching a sport and not a drugged-up joke.
It's funny how the pactards instantly jump on anyone that slams cheaters.

Haha! That's pretty funny. The olympics would be the equivalent of a pie eating contest. Who can do the most roids and not die. I think that Death and health risk is the main reason that they don't legalize performance enhancers in sport.

Thing is though the UFC is already there. 90% of those fuckers are juicing, it's bleeding obvious.

Could be that Oscar fully meant it as a little jab at Mosley. Although they are in business together, I never got the sense they would have any kind of personal relationship... And DLH is a proud man, I'm sure he does have some anamosity to this day about not getting the decision in the second fight with Shane(who was almost certainly using PEDS leading up to it). It's not as if he's going to jeapordize Mosley's standing with Golden Boy by making this claim, especially since Shane never actually tested positive for anything.
