Its OK saying it was Beckhams free kick against Paraguay, and Beckhams cross for the Trinidad goal, but it was also his fault for the first goal and further panic in the box. Granted he isnt helped by having Carragher at right back because he wont bomb past him like Neville does, yes his delivery is excellent, and it will always be, but for me there have been periods in every game thus far where he should have stepped up to the plate as captain and dragged the team back into shape, he didnt, he went missing.
