Help me remember this film please

Im trying to remember a boxing film I watched as a child.
I only have really vague memories of it so my description might not be helpful.
I think it was a cheesy low budget film. Probably went 'straight to video'.

A boxer (possibly an old boxer. I'll call him 'Ted') gets himself involved in some shit (i think) with a dodgy promoter (possibly) of an underground boxing circuit (perhaps).
He has to then fight several opponents one after the other on the same night. He needs to beat all of them or something bad will happen. I think two of the 'baddie' boxers are twin brothers. But they agree to help him by throwing their fights with him. The first throws his fight with Ted. But just as the second brother is going to get in the ring the promoter tells him he knows his brother threw the fight. He takes him to the backroom where his brother is poised to be hung. The promoter says if he doesn't beat Ted his brother will be hung. So brother number 2 sprints to the ring, the fight starts, and he starts trying to beat the hell out of Ted. Ted hasn't a clue whats happening so eventually just beats the hell out of the brother and wins. The brother sprints to the backroom but finds his brother is already dead.

Thats it. All i can remember.
Anyone have a clue what i'm talking about?

Thats the one. It looks different though. I had a memory of a huge bearded redneck. I have no idea if its good or not but its bugged me on and off (mostly off) for a few years.

Its funny, when i was searching earlier i actually typed in 'midnight express' although had no idea why especially as I already knew that 'midnight express' is something entirely different. I also had no memory of it being a con film. Strange thing is the memory. I also didn't remember it being a comedy. As a 7 year old I guess it seemed like high drama to me.

This movie was voted one of the worst but I still like it and have watched it many times, I like Lou Gossett but the con man made the movie by always out conning the con man of the town, I don't care how it was voted here I still think it's good entertainment
