    Thats the one. It looks different though. I had a memory of a huge bearded redneck. I have no idea if its good or not but its bugged me on and off (mostly off) for a few years.

    was Stebs who got it ! As soon as he said Lou Gossett I remembered it

    Midnight Sting sounds a hell of a lot better than Diggstown.....

    Its funny, when i was searching earlier i actually typed in 'midnight express' although had no idea why especially as I already knew that 'midnight express' is something entirely different. I also had no memory of it being a con film. Strange thing is the memory. I also didn't remember it being a comedy. As a 7 year old I guess it seemed like high drama to me.

    This movie was voted one of the worst but I still like it and have watched it many times, I like Lou Gossett but the con man made the movie by always out conning the con man of the town, I don't care how it was voted here I still think it's good entertainment
