As much as I loathed their approach to the game against the Vikings, I did enjoy watching last night's game, and I'm sure Bourbon street is still scattered with the drunken bodies of those too sozzled to get home last night, picking themselves up and yelling before starting to walk home.
As for the playcalling, Payton has stones the size of mount rushmore! Trying to go for the TD at the end of the first didn't quite work, but the D got the ball back and was somewhat vindicated. The onside kick however, gutsiest call ever! That's when I thought it wouldn't be too bad for them to win, but I don't buy in to all the hoohaa about a city recovering from disaster. It's just a great win.

Rhun I see 'katrina' fatigue all of the time, and cannot say I blame many.but believe the hoohaa brother.they helped give this city legs, feelscomplete in a way.not to mention a new mayor elected sat,god knows the last one didn't do shite for the citys recovery.I'm throwing this iPod out of the window

I was kinda sorta watching while I was working but I saw them go 10 points or so down before half time and I thought oh well, never mind. But they went and turned it around pretty well. Have a nice time Spicoli.![]()

These Americans obviously don't understand the rules.
That was quite clearly a forward pass by the scrum-half.
If God wanted us to be vegetarians, why are animals made of meat ?

I basically picked the Saints as the team to follow when I first started watching NFL, with Katrina as the main motivation. If any team needed or deserved this it's them, and I'm delighted for their fans, and particularly Spicoli. Also, when I went to see them play the Chargers at Wembley, it was such an awesome atmosphere, it's great to see those same players victorious. Gwan Saints![]()

I hear you bud,and can see both sides indeed. At times this place is stuck in place, some just cannot get motivated.....financially or mentally to move forward but all in all we needed it.The media focuses on the worst elements at times, during and after the storm but we're scrappy, most of us....As far as ol' Favre....well dems the breaks
.Poor guys probally still flinching "
