It was ok at best I guess. One redeeming quality was having the guy from Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia as one of the others.
Ok at best? I don't know. The whole alternate timeline stuff was just idiotic. Kate (die) was on the run, decides to stop off at a mechanic who seems totally cool with her pointing a gun at him. Not as in cool like I'm scared you have a gun I'll do what you want but like here's a cool click cool
"what'd you do?"
"murder"
"hehe"
"you have a bathroom?"
"sure right there"
so she's back on the run, from a federal marshall, she decides she needs to go find Claire, in a gigantic city, and look there she is.
"will you come with me?"
"But you're on the run and just carjacked my cab, wouldn't let me go, held a gun to my head, etc, etc."
"will you come with me?"
"ok"
Its like they had to get the two together but couldn't figure out how to make it plausible so they just said fuck it, this is Lost, you're supposed to have suspension of disbelief. That's fine but you shouldn't rely on that, its lazy.
Which wouldn't have mattered that much if it hadn't been boring. But it was. Maybe because I knew Claire was coming back.
