As of today, February 11th, I've been a member of this board for 6 years now (even though strangely it says I registered on Feb 12h ).

Also the day Mike Tyson lost the title to James Douglas.

And Nelson Mandela was free!!! Newspaper had the headline down (picture of Tyson trying to get his gum shield) and out (picture of Nelson Mandela).

It's still the best place to talk boxing, though. I learn more from reading what you guys have to say than any other source - who's coming up that is worth keeping an eye on, lots of behind the scenes news, etc. Plus it's great to see the intelligent debates on here. You might have to wade through a few (thousand) posts of name calling to get to it, but it's always worth it.

I often quote that headline but not many remember it - was an all time classic but I can't get hold of the image of the front page (was going to get a tshirt done )
