I know. They always involve people I've never heard of and it seems like the most unlikely stoppages occurs. I can't count how many times I've looked at a guys record, seen he has a low KO% only to find out he's somehow stopped his opponent.
What you've got to consider is although the % might be low, there aren't that many fighters in the UK who fight regularly at 10 and 12 rounds, so it's an idea to see how many 4 & 6 rounders are in that low KO % record.

As for the fight itself, I really was hoping for Cookie to find a bingo punch, as I also though that Daws was going to win the fight, but a draw was a very creditable result for him, and vindication for his comeback. I wouldn't mind seeing them go at it again, and as Cookie gets more rounds under his belt, he might still have a chance, but I think Daws would get the result again.

I try to do that, but sometimes it just blows up in my face. There also seem to be a large number of domestic fights that end up much more competitive than they should just based on the records of the fighters involved. Again, I imagine this is do to my lack of familiarity with the fighters involved

I think even Cook thought he should have lost the fight.

His reaction at the end of the 12th certainly seemed to suggest that, but he was on the back foot for the last five or six, so he probably wasn't thinking of those earlier rounds.
