I know they were world class, but one fight they never made and could've made the participants some nice retirement money past their primes was Wayne McCullough vs Paulie Ayala. Perfect recipe for a great (pillow) fight. Featherfisted, threw a gazillion punches per round, durable, courageous... what's not to love?

Well one that instantly came to mind that happened a few years back was Ebo Elder vs. Courtney Burton.

That was one of the best fights I've ever seen.

Elder's eye's were nearly swollen shut by the end and he went out there knowing he needed a KO to win and he did it.

It was like something out of a Hollywood movie.

Are we going actual or 'dream' match ups?

Alex Stewart vs Sinclair Babb was an absolute heavyweight classic...up there with any in the books.Ruddock vs Morrison great fight....Totally obscure here but Hector Monjardin vs Ben Lopez 1....one of the best action fights Ive ever seen!! Hector Lopez vs Sammy Fuentes 1 awesome war...Santos cardona vs Verno phillips 1,2...Elvir Muriqi vs Sammy Ahmad war...Letterlough vs Gonzalez left people fooking flinching in their sleep

Does anyone have a link to this fight? I've wanted to see it for what feels like forever.

    Steve Molitor - Bernard Dunne

I'm not sure if they're B-level fighters, I think they are.

For a fight that did happen rather than fantasy, then the first that came to mind was for a british title fight a few years ago, both these guy's had a common friend, and both trained in Manchester at the time. If ya can call British title fight B class guess it is compared to World title, and these guys are yet to make it to the Big stage ; Jaime Moore v Matthew Macklin - Absolute barnburner of a scrap and well worth a mention
