he not only was my favorite fighter in the 80's but also of all-time! sure i have other favorite fighters but maybe because of his untimely early demise, this pick is more or less a pick coming from the heart. BTW, i also liked roberto duran, alexis arguello, hagler, mancini, bobby chacon, julio cesar chavez and others. to me, sal sanchez was like a superstar who came in brilliantly and who died out too young. like elvis presley, james dean, marilyn monroe, JFK etc...
