Depends which lake I guess but in Canada you can find tons of clean lake, it's always a bit buddy on the banks but the water is still fresh and without much pollution at all .. yet.

The reason I say get a survey is some poor bastard bought one out here recently nice cabin crusier inboard sleeps a few, he sidestepped the survey becuase he could only just afford the bargain boat off the dealers.
He invited his parents out onto the boat for celebratory drinks and it blew up and killed the poor old people and wounded him badly.Seen him walking to the inquest on the news and mentally to look at, you wouldnt be him for all the tea in China.Unfortunately out here its up to the purchaser to do the survey so the bum dealer got away with selling it in court. OK guys so I've been able to make it to the house a couple times, here are some pics. So I've found out a little bit about the house. In 2004 the house sold for 280K It was then used to grow pot all in the attic and in the covering outside. Those people ended up getting forced out by the bank, it was sold again in 2007 and the same thing happened. I bought this house for 80 K, that's like 350%, everyone has been telling me it's a deal, but I had no idea. It needs a lot of work still though, the first is gutters as you can see on the first pic.

The house is elevated a couple feet which is why there is the need for those ugly ass steps out front, I'm not sure what I want to do about them yet.

If you went just a little bit offshore you'd have a hit. I sshould have taken pictures of the people of city of Clearlake (the house is in lakeport, a much better town but right on Clearlake), it's the most good for nothiing place ever. There is a reason people don't seem to ever get developments off the ground, there are soooo many trailer parks t's unbelievable. The city of Lakeport barely has any nice neighborhoods, or normal neighborhoods, even upscale living there is just a really nice trailer. This house is in more of the downtown section so it's not like that. It has a cool little downtown too with a lot of shops that chicks like and a bunch of college-style shops, nice parks, statues ect. It's cool the area except the neighbors are all fat (like obese) slobs
