Should states stop licensing Roy Jones if (when) he loses?

If he was getting hammered from pillar to post every other week then sure. But he is still capable of defending himself and competing inside a boxing ring.

To be fair to Roy, I dont think he's in THAT big of trouble against B-Hop. He got caught by a perfect punch from Green and went down. Hopkins is not a big puncher, and doesn't have that big 1-punch power like Green.

That being said, I still agree with you that Roy needs to hang them up bad. Its like Leonard, Robinson, Ali, ect at the end of their careers. They relied so much on reflexes and speed. Once they begin to dull, its a scary situation.

Nobodys ever in serious danger with hopkins are they

sure he`ll get taken to school for 12rounds and made to look rather silly and no doubt bernard will claim this now somehow makes him the greatest fighter of the 90s!

Hopkins does a worse job on fighters than anyone. He never blasts them out, he slowly methodically beats them till they've got nothing left. Echols, Trinidad, Pavlik & Taylor are all fighters who've looked different men after he's through with them. I worry more that Hopkins will be vindictive & slowly break all that is left of Roy before KOing him flat in the late rounds.

In answer to the question, no he probably shouldn't, but I wish they would. It's sad to see him like this.
