Spot on, just been speaking to Ray Hatton for well over an hour and discussed this. There is also a retirement home opened in Hyde called Hattons, this has nothing to do with them either, but Ray got stopped in the street the other day by someone saying they wanted to put their Mum in Ricky's old folks home.

Also, Rick was quoted yesterday in an interview in Tenerife saying that he has fallen out of love with boxing. It should hit the press tomorrow. I doubt he'll ever fight again. And I'm glad of that.
that really is great news mate cheers for sharing

for me he aint got it anymore and to take an easy finish fight and possibly struggling or losing to a sub standard fighter wouldn't do him or his loyal fans much good.

no shame in losing to the 2 p4p best fighters of this era and he is a very rich guy now so why risk his health by continuing.

GOOD CALL RICKY

How on earth is that great news

A great fighter deciding at 31 to end his career, and please dont give me that he`s a shot fighter crap, the second best performance of his career was not 6months before the pacquiao fight and only now are we actually learning how good a boxer malignaggi actually is.

Had hatton of been outboxed and demolished for 12rounds then fair play he is a shot fighter, instead he got caught out in the moment hit hard very early on and never recovered. That doesnt indicate that a fighter is past his prime!!
