Wow I don't get it, but people seem to have such a strong hate towards ANYONE that proves themselves. Ali, Leonard, Roy JOnes Jr, Whitaker, MAyweather, HOpkins, and now Pacquiao are all hated way more than they should be. Especially with what Mayweather and Pacquiao have done for hte sport, they have made it more popular than even post-defeat Tyson did. They bring a buzz for boxing to the world and they are the greatest fighters in the sport. Who doesn't want them to win and face eachother are doing so purely out of spite, and as a boxing fan you should be ashamed of yourself. Hating somebody purely because some people get carried away in their praises of said fighter is childish. Mayweather and Pacquiao are great fighters who are extremely small welterweights and they could compete with the best welterweights of any era.

Floyd is a natural welterweight. He obviously isn't the size of Clottey, Margarito, etc but those guys are huge for the weight. If the guy wasn't a natural welterweight he would of made 144 against Marquez but he couldn't.
Pacquiao is a natural junior welterweight. The guy weighed 138 for Hatton less than a year ago. He could probably make 135 if he had too.
He has to eat crazy amount of calories to get close to 147 and so far he has always been under.

I'm not!! I like Clottey but I like boxing more and a Pac-Mayweather fight has the potential to launch boxing back into the glory days of old more than any other potential fight around at the moment, providing neither lose that is!!

and it's not gonna happen regardless of if Pacquiao wins tonight, this fight IMO isn't gonna do big PPV numbers, and i'm pretty damn sure Mayweather/Mosley will break a million buys, so due to that the fight wont happen because of money, and the original prob, cause Pacquiao is still gonna pussy out of the drug tests

See I think the fight is inevitable. In fact I'd be completely gob smacked if it hasn't been and gone by the end of 2010. I might be being naive as I want the best for boxing and IMO that would be the best thing that could happen for boxing, but if that is the case and I am just wishfull thinking, then the 2 biggest stars since ODLH have ruined the chance to boost boxing back to where it belongs.

IMO that's exactly what's gonna happen, Pacquiao will retire and Floyd will carry on fighting the Cotto/Foreman winner most likely
I'm afraid its not gonna happen. Pac will totally outclass him. End of discussion.

Not so much praying as thinking upsets are great for boxing.Anytime divas are brought down to earth we all benefit.I think Clottey has all the tools to do it but if he steps into the fire and initiates what it takes I'll eat my boots and do this guy >><<
Pac will probably win. Clottey is a brawler like Hatton and Pac totally destroyed him. So deja vu.

I guarantee you no one is doing more praying at this very moment than Floyd Mayweather, and he's praying that MANNY will win. Being that Clottey didn't enter into the blood test demands at all, if he were to somehow beat Pacquiao without having him being tested at all Floyd would be looking like the biggest dumbazz on the planet, being he likely could have done it and made roughly $45 million more than Clottey.

I'm not a religious man, but Jesus, if you are there...
Please let Manny get knocked the fook out in devastating fashion.![]()
