Mosley is the man. He's probably the best Welter of the past decade. I go with Bulldog's argument.

Mosley, has a win over a prime DLH (the rematch was at 154) and he jumped two divisions as well to do it, difference was DLH wasn't shot or weight drained, a solid win over Collazo who's still game, destroyed Margarito, and he lost a close decision to Cotto (pre-Margarito/Mosley was past his prime as well), so IMO he's still got the best resume at 147 right now, if anything you can make the case that Cotto (although he lost to Pacquiao) has the best resume, wins over Quintana, Judah, Mosley, and Clottey, and only loss (other than Pacquiao) was against a proven cheat
Mosley didn't jump 2 weight divisions to fight De La Hoya in their 1st fight, if memory serves me right, it was his 3rd or 4th fight at welterweight when he fought De la hoya the first time, although he did skipped the 140 pound class.
I don't see what Mosely's wins over Oscar have to do with now though given that they happened several years ago.
I'm talking about who has the best resume against the current crop of welters.
Floyd hasn't fought a welterweight opponent since 2006, over 3 and a half years.
Mosely has had three fights at welter, Collazo, Cotto which he lost and Margarito.
Berto has fought such luminaries as Steve Forbes, David Estrada, Trabant, Urango and Collazo.
Manny's resume beats all of the above imo.
yes, and certainly most impressive.
people will begin to dog on him for last night because he never got Clottey out of there, but i dare anyone to try and KO a punching bag. Just not gonna happen. You can however beat the thing silly from beginning to end, kinda like..well...yea.
I dont think so.Resumes are long term and talking just in the 'now' sort of tilts the favorites from the outset.Mosley has faced far better competition albeit with 2 losses to a top form Forrest.Hitting his initial stride at Welter,Mosley was just as impressive as Manny who himself deserves full credit for Cotto destruction even after Margarito.Blah hands never know blah.Arguably after Clottey himself let a victory slip away vs Cotto by showing the same limpness then as he did last night. If Oscar is listed as accomplishment in shell form on Mannys resume then certainly he counts x 2 when a win over him actually, well, meant something?
