It was much more interesting than that one with the prima donna and the tortoise shell in that you actually sense a bit of tension in this one. It was fun and games for Mayweather as usual, but Mosley probably knows it's last chance saloon if he wants to stay in the big time with the very best and after his long lay off and advancing years too. It would be magic to see him roll back the years and wipe that petulant smirk off Mayweather's face.

I want Mosley to win and part of me has lost interest in the whole Pac/Mayweather thing anyway. Arum doesn't want Manny fighting anyone outside of his stable and Manny doesn't want anything to do with random drug testing, so bugger those silly tarts. It's good for boxing to have the fight and with drug testing, but if it isn't to be then so be it.

Agreed. I would so love to see him do to Mayweather, what he was able to do to Margaurito. Shane has lost a step or 2 over the years, but he is still relativity fast with his hands as a 47 lb'er, and still maintains a cosmic chin. I think that if he shows up in the phenomenal shape that he did against Margaurito, he can walk through Floyd's pitty pat punches, using that remarkable beard as a tool.

Shane always comes in top shape and is the best WW at this time and has a real good chance of winning, I say 50/50 but he will find Floyd is no powder puff when it comes to punching power and won't be walking through Floyds pity pat punches as you call them, when Shane gets hit he comes back firing and that's one of Shanes great strength's and danger for Floyd.

Seen this the other night after the Pac/Clottey replay on HBO....Floyd seemed a bit funny in this....He seemed like he wanted to talk more shit but refrained...At times he spoke well and others it seems like he put effort into sounding like a tool.....

I think he has more respect for Mosley then he lets on...IMO he is actually thinking for the first time in his career this may not go his way...OR at least go as easy for him as past fights.....

    Gonna be a good fight...

Love how Shane threw in the p[art where he said Floyd came in and said "I want to be like you"..LOL....PBF was a bit embarrassed by that IMO

Of course he does. They resist mentioning it, but I'm sure they're friends outside the ring. I've read interviews with both where they've mentioned that they place basketball together every couple of weeks. Who plays basketball with someone they hate??

That was by far the best face-off though. I think both guys really want it, and I disagree with you Daxx, I suspect both have some doubts, but are also fully confident of winning. I'm so looking forward to this fight, my two favourite boxers as a kid finally in the same ring.

We will have to agree on disagreeing with you mate....I don't think Mosley has any doubts in his mind.....

I mean honestly every fighter has some doubts on things it is just human but those are kept inside to themselves and not shown in public.

Floyd just does not exceed that confidence as usual where he presents himself as the almighty of boxing...

They should have ended that with the Gorrila Productions video.

I dont believe shane has any doubts, because he's already been p4p number one1, had an undefeated record, lost and came back from his losses. Floyd is def the more concerned of the two. His ego has yet to be checked, he's still protecting that zero that affords him the phrase "40 have tried and 40 have failed". I think of all the guys that had undefeated records over the last twenty years a lost to floyd would be one of the most devastating to a fighter's ego.

Everyone talks about how Mayweather is cocky and needs to have his ego checked. But what I look at, is that yes he is cocky and everything but he trains like a demon to back all that talk up, never takes a fighter lightly and never shows up to a fight out of shape or unprepared. So yes he is cocky, and he has an ego, but his ego doesn't eclipse his talent, so as long as he backs it up, I don't see much wrong with it.

Mayweathers punching power is overrated. He is a hurting puncher, as is Mosley, but neither is a true K.O. puncher at Welterweight. I think Sahne is fast enough to avoid some of Mayweathers shots, but he will have to walk through the barrage in order to get to Floyd.
