Here's a link to go back to ESB.
I'm not going to go as far to say or agree that Pac has been ducking fighters out of fear. But he has done his share of picking and choosing just as most fighters have in their careers. Pac doesn't pick fights with slick boxers and this is well known. He feasts on guys who are easy to find and have little chance to outbox him. And no matter what Pac apologists say...Pac absolutely avoided Mosley. Mosley agreed to everything Team Pac asked for. They even tried to shoo Mosley away with the "You have to make 143" catchweight. Mosley agreed, went to Roach's gym and still got denied. But I am not mad at any fighter picking and choosing every now and then. Its a hurt sport and business must still be maximized. Pac only does this every now and then so this is easily respectable to me. Just about every fighter has done this. Some just do it more than what can be overlooked.
Even if he chooses to fight slick fighters like chris john or guzman, pac would easily beat them. I don't know why some posters think pac is avoiding guz. Guz lost to funeka. Funeka exposed guz so what do you think pac would do to him when they meet?
And this may or may not be true. But remember styles make fights and not every style is an easy figure for greats like Pac. For instance, B level fighters Junior "Poison" Jones and Zahir Raheem are 3-1 against Hall of Fame greats Marcos Antonio Barerra and Erik Morales. And Raheem/Morales was a boxing lesson. They didn't figure out slick fighters very well. It would've have been nice to see how Pac would've done against Zahir Raheem, or any boxer who moves well, after Raheem just made easy work out of Morales but instead he chose to fight the loser of that fight in Morales. And lets not forget Paul Williams having trouble with movers as well, Quintana and Martinez.
