We knew summat corrupt would happen when a Michigan fighter got a home ref in Michigan. Arthur got cut by a headbutt but no warnings to Direll . He was also hit low many times without warning. Arthur also scored a clean knockdown the round before and wasnt awarded it. Total farce like Ward vs Kess.
The shot was nice and clean however Dirrells right foot tripped on AA's left.
Dirrell would have gone down regardless BUT unfortunately for AA the feet tripped up...

AA has a sense of humour for sure... Garry Sure screams at AA during the interview ''Why don't you give the Guy some credit for what he did tonight''.. AA responded by saying ''Yeah he's a good actor!''

It was absurd. Dirrell has athletic skills, but is a total woman. Abraham should really have pressured more early on. The cards would have been closer and the knockout would have come sooner. Froch had it half right in roughing him up, but you also need to let the hands go a bit and keep him down. And he will stay down.

    Rubbish.

Sorry, but their feet just about grazed past... hardly an issue.
Unfortunately, the ref made a bad decision.

So that's Abraham with two stunning knockouts already in this tournament.

Seriously, Cole needs to retire as a ref. Lots of lousy judgment calls/no calls. Im even thinking he waited too long to call that a DQ. Don't think he's biased or anything, but he always overlooks a lot of important stuff thats happening in the ring. good show by dirrell, but Im still having second thoughts if he was acting or not during the end of the bout.

It was an obvious knockdown, the feet barely touched from what I saw. It was a punch that put Dirrell there.

I remember when Bowe knocked down Buster Mathis and kept hitting him. They called it a no decision. Maybe Buster should have twitched like a spaz then got up and cried like a girl and he may have got a DQ win.

I hope Dirrel was acting cuz if I wake up in the morning and he actually does have brain damage then I'll have to delete this post.

Who knocked down who, and when is irrelevant.

Whether Dirrell was acting or not... also irrelevant.

The only reasonable decision would've been a technical draw/no decision. Dirrell absolutely faked it, but the that punch was still very stupid by AA. On the other hand, Dirrell headbutted AA and there were multiple low blows, even if biased people won't admit it.

To me it seemed like the ref protected Dirrell. After a low blow he said to him "Don't worry about it". And after Dirrell got knocked down, which was miraculously not counted as a KD, the ref suddenly felt like taking care of AA's cut.

There should be a rule against having a ref from the same country as one of the fighters, same with the judges.

Consider that I'm not biased either way, I like both fighters and I'm neither American nor German/Armenian.

if abraham was more aggressive early on it wouldnt have worked in his favor

Let's agree on a couple of things
    1) Abraham had to be D1'd for his offense
    2) Cole is an absolutely attrocious official - missed 1 kd for Dirrell and 2 for Abraham, Tells Arthur I saw it about the low blows yet doesnt do anything, the cut was clearly caused by a headbutt where's video replay when you need it?
    3) Dirrell put on a performance which would make Sandra Bullock blush with the "I got knocked out shananigans" (but in a way his crazy acting hurts him because he acted as if Abraham had legitimately KO'd him)
    4) Can we do something about the RING PAINT I'm not at all condoning what Abraham did (refer to point #1) but Dirrell seemed to slip everytime Arthur went on the offensive

    Now up for debate
I think Abraham would've finished him if it wasnt for the KD he was moving into the corners (as he was when the DQ happened) and had next to nothing left

the ref said 'dont wory about it' to abraham, he was telling him to stop complaining and defend himself

plus the ref didnt even know dirrels name, he kept calling him anthony
