I expect him to get the hat trick against Froch, he won't be nearly as hard to hit as Dirrell was. You've got to hand it to Abraham and his power punches though, to see it once against Taylor is impressive but it's rare you see somebody win two fights in a row with stunning one punch knockouts.
3 fights in a row. He put Orals lights out aswel.

The Froch fight isnt in Amercia either so Arthur wont have to worry about another corrupt night of officiating.
I forgot about that one. That was the best of the three. If he gets Froch the same way it'll be a Super Six hat trick and four in a row.

On first watch I thought he was 'doing a Griffin' - it was the delayed reaction to the punch, it seemed calculated to me, because Abraham was starting to find him with more frequency.

The other thing is that the punch didn't seem that hard, firm yes, but not a really devastating punch - and make no mistake, Dirrell had taken some harder shots during the fight than the one Abraham hit him with when he was down.

All said - I can't argue with the DQ, Abraham is a moron. You can't hit a guy when he was down. Acting or not, doesn't matter - Abraham broke the rules.

I think the MOST bizarre thing to come out of that fight was the display by the doctor - was it his first ever fight??

You don't treat the cut, dickhead, you wipe the fucking blood away and tell us if he's ok to go. Abraham got about 30 seconds of treatment on his cut, and Cole had to tell that guy twice - "You're just supposed to look at it." What the fuck is going on in Michigan?

Seriously, the sport of boxing never fails to find new ways to amaze me.

He was even putting pressure on the cut. I mean wtf was that about. Clearly ineptness on the part of the officials. I agree on a previous poster saying this fight was truly embarrassing. Shame this could have been a good barnstormer if more "able" officials were on hand. Truly disappointed.
