Kind of ironic when you think about the surroundings we were in
I overheard a group of white elderly people at the bus stop in Smethwick (an area with higher numbers of the Black and Asian (Indian) people) saying Enoch Powell was right (about the floodgates opening and river of blood speech). Just ignored the old fools.

Another time a white said "why don't you go back to wear you come from", the Asian guy says "where, Wolverhampton?" Had everyone on the train in stiches
I love to hear people say that. Never been said to me, but I've had ancestors here for more than 1000 years, my other ancestors BUILT this country. What did yours do--come here on a boat?
