i'll be there..
i'll be there..
dont Fuck with the chuck
I fly to Crete via Athens at 06.00am on Friday morning as i got a decent new job start, i'd would have flown back for this and took my chances with a tout otherwise.
Brilliant fight arena for anyone who's not been before (Calzaghe v Lacy was an amazing night).
Great line up of fights too so you'll deffo get your monies worth.
I see Haye boxing superbly and winning by a thumping KO around the 7th.
Just don't see any way Ruiz can win and Haye is a far superior boxer and Athelete.
First thing i'm doing when i arrive in Crete (Got a few days off) is running round the local bars finding out who's showing this.
For me it's simply not an option to miss this
Just out of interest what's the UK Press coverage of this to date?
Have the Sun etc been building it up or what?
To all those going, have a brilliant night and sink some ales for me![]()
I will be there, looking forward to it,not looking forward to the 2 half hour drive to manchester tho.
There's been a bit in the Sun everyday but nothing major. A little mock up of Ferdinands face on Haye's body and vica versa. Ferdinand will be ringside as will Ricky Hatton so I've read. Also read that Haye looks heavy and his timing is off though, can't remember who said that...
I'm there on Staurday, going with the missus, her sister and her chap. Really looking forward to it, not been to the MEN before and only opted for the £50 tickets so I'm glad to hear it's a decent arena for boxing. Any big screens do you know?
I've also got a free £30 bet with Ladbrokes I need to use up, anyone got any suggestions?

The Sun have been reporting Ruiz has never been stopped. Fucks sake![]()
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
I think Ruiz is tought. Haye will try to finish him before fight ends but will fail. I would bet Haye win by unanimous decision.
Hmm, think I best check out the odds for a mid to late round stoppage.
On a side note, I normally take anything Haye says to hype a fight with a pinch of salt, but I really do believe his followig quote from the Guardian...
"I'm going back to what I used to do," Haye said. "This time, I'm punching at the same angles I have done since I was a kid. Adam's pretty straight-talking. He doesn't say things he doesn't believe. And he says I'm punching faster and harder than I did in the last fight and the one before that [against Monte Barrett].
"Adam's really happy where I'm at at the moment, and so am I. I feel this is my time. Come fight night, I will feel pretty much like I'm the finished product. Everything seems to have come together at the right time."
I'm going Haye in 7 - but an early blowout of Ruiz wouldn't surprise me either.
Have to make sure I don't drink to much and not see or remember a thing like Tyson v Francis....
Anyone heard how tickets have sold - has he sold it out ??
Don't bully fat kids - they've got enough on their plate
Ill be there just look for a mop of blonde hair! Cant wait for this one!

Newbie here with a very unoriginal name. I won't be there but will be watching from home.
Just wondering if anyone checked the odds on Ladbrokes fore the Groves fight last night. I was amazed by the odds... 5/4 to win by KO (as it still is) but then 16/1 to win rounds 1-3 and 40/1 upwards on winning in rounds 1-12. Incredible odds.
I was waiting until this morning to place my bet as I wanted time to have a think and work out what to put on, anyway this morning the odds have completely switched. They posted the Adamu odds under Groves! I'm gutted for not getting in fast enough. Did anyone else notice this and manage to put a bet on in time?
Anyone know what time this fight starts in the states and what channel it will be on?
Although it's a decent undercard I'm only aiming to be there for the Groves fight and Haye. What time do people think would be best to get there for? I'm thinking aroung 8pm?
