Hell yeah I joined a week after the first Hopkins-Taylor fight and shit this place was crazy, I seem to remember you and Northside having a zillion replies to each other on the main board. I was full blown going forward on the Lacy bandwagon thought he was going to overpower and wreck Calzaghe I don't know how many times I watched the Calzaghe-Mitchell fight so reassure myself that Lacy would win. Remember how bad Royal was in those days? Oh shit, to bad he's not around these days or if he was here for the Ward fight.

Northside was the original gangsta of the forum. Wish he woulda been around to meet Violent Demise. They coulda done a drive by together or some shit.

Haha yep I remember sayin that Lacy was the Mike Tyson of the 168 lb division. And the he was gonna destroy Calzaghe. Especially after so many Brits on here had picked Robin Reid to score an upset over Lacy, and Reid had just been taken apart. That was a crooked ref in that one though.

Royal...he was a big Kessler fan wasn't he? We used to have a couple of those guys on here that only posted about Kessler claiming Calzaghe was scared of him and he was the real champion at 168 lbs.

haha yeah the hype got kinda outrageous.

VD and Northside have crossed paths before, remember VD is from the south not like us so maybe if there was a drive by I think they would be in different cars

Yes the hype did. And living in the U.S. I didn't see Kessler box on TV until he fought Andrade.

    Have they ?

    I didn't know that.

Remember Brit Kid ? That guy was like a boxing encyclopedia.

Ah we've lost a lot of good men thru the years...and some crazy bastards as well...

But at least we still have Bilbo.

Him and I were once in the JFAT alliance ya know. And damnit James Toney had a chance against the Klitshckos back then too...before he ate himself out of a career and talked his way into MMA.
