No sympathy whatsoever. I have to pay or else so Tommy has to pay. It's what it is.![]()
“If you want loyalty, buy a dog.” Ricky Hatton
I just looked at all the lots and he doesn't have $400,000 worth of goods to sell, the fountain boat is the most valuable item and I'm about 20 miles away so I'm riding down tomorrow to check it all out. I'm looking for a pair of used jet ski's so maybe I'll bid on Saturday but I hope he's not expecting premium prices, not that it matters since it's a no reserve auction, I wish him luck though.
That's not far from where I work. I might swoop by to see if they have a belt or something there for auction. I won't be buying anything, though.
I wonder what he burned up all his cash on. He lives in Southfield and that's not the most expensive place to live. He son drives a HUGE SUV and so far he hasn't put that law degree of his to use. I mean, Tommy had to have financed Ronald's lifestyle, right?
That's sad to see. Boxers always seem to have issues keeping the house in order and preparing for the rainy days. He'll be announcing his comeback next.![]()
He did fight back in '06 or '07. Granted it was a fat, slow guy with no power, but he was still in the ring. I'd like to see him train, but Hearns would have to work on his speech. You can't have a guy whose ears are ringing from being punched in the head trying to figure out what the hell Tommy is saying to him.
Southfield is Oakland County so the taxes are inflated, his home taxes in 2009 were $13,061 plus upkeep and if he has a mortgage which I read he owes $450,000 plus on, with no ability or skills to earn a living at 51 years old other then some rare appearances on legends of boxing but with his speech they really don't want him on. I talked to him today at the auction house about his 57 Chevy and the jet ski's, he came there to pick up one of his fishing boats that he decided to keep, he really had nothing their of any significant value. I didn't see any belts but a lot of robes, trunks, boxing gloves and such. Still a humble friendly guy.
here's his home with a birds eye view.
