Floyd Mayweather Jr would give him fits, Roberto Duran was great at Lightweight. But i still think he would have alot of trouble, Wilfredo Benitez gave Roberto Duran a boxing lesson.

I know it was above Lightweight, but again Wilfredo Benitez is similar to Floyd Mayweather Jr, due to the fact there both great defensive fighters. And Roberto Duran could never get off against Wilfredo Benitez.

But Floyd Mayweather Jr would struggle to keep Roberto Duran off him, and even though Floyd Mayweather Jr did beat Jose Luis Castillo. More convincingly in the rematch, it still wasn't that easy being a 7 rounds to 5 win. which isn't that clear cut.

So IMO if Floyd Mayweather Jr couldn't keep Jose Luis Castillo off him, there's no way he keeps Roberto Duran off him. Who's a better boxer than Jose Luis Castillo and has more power.

I think over 12 rounds it would be pretty close, i think Floyd Mayweather Jr wins the early rounds. Before Roberto Duran's pressure starts to gets to him late, and i think Roberto Duran wins a close but clear cut decision.

Duran would beat anyone at 135, including Mayweather and Mosley.

Sweet Pea could also take Floyd in my opinion.

and Aaron Pryor would demolish Mayweather...

Aaron Pryor would not demolish Floyd Mayweather Jr, Aaron Pryor is a bit overrated amongst fans these days. Yes he looked impressive vs Alexis Arguello who was slightly past his best and above his best weightclass, and against a past his prime Antonio Cervantes.

But other than that who else was there on his record ? it seems to me Aaron Pryor is a bit of myth. Because SRL supposedly avoided him, which im not saying is untrue.

But because of that he seems to get overrated, he only ever met one slick fighter in Gary Hilton. Who almost beat him, Aaron Pryor's reckless style wouldn't be effective against Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Pernell Whitaker would give Roberto Duran alot of trouble, Pernell Whitaker was very good at dealing with pressure fighters. Julio Cesar Chavez, Greg Haugen, Jose Luis Ramirez, Jorge Paez, Julio Cesar Vasquez, ETC.
