Default May 5, 2007 (Cinco de Mayo): De La Hoya vs Pretty Boy Floyd!!!!

Jesus Christ, ODLH is one hell of a businessman. I read that he wanted to fight in May 2007 and I was thinking "oh probably because he wants to fight in the same month as Cinco De Mayo." Nope. This guy is smart enough to have the biggest fight in years exactly on the day of Cinco De Mayo. That right there automatically increases both guys purse for this fight. The Mexicans are gonna be going crazy that night. Shit. We're talking a 33 Mil - 25 Mil split. Damnit, this is gonna be the biggest fight in history. The one thing that pisses me off is that, I have no doubt that PBF will not fight Tony, Hatton, Cotto, or anybody dangerous now. There's no way he's jepoardizing a 23-25 mil payday by getting beat in November. I think that PBF should just take one of those guys on and get it over with. IMO, he should try and get at Hatton for November, but I have a sneaking suspicion that Hatton doesn't want a fight with Floyd this soon.

All of this leads to the biggest fight in history, I've said it one before:

...history will be made on November 14, 2006...

    SWORN ENEMIES
"Pretty Boy" Floyd vs Sharmba Mitchell II on HBO PPV

Floyd can get two more matches in before may 5th but it's his time right now. He is 29 and not a spring chicken, he needs his mega fights now, these next two years should be glorious for him. He will dominate boxing, only big fights for Floyd.

I hate Oscar, I really really hate Oscar. Such an egotist.

How I wish Spain would raise another army and just bomb the F*** out of Oscar's palace and stately homes.

    He's a Kunt.

Whats the betting that when he does anounce his retirement it will be on the 40th day after Easter, the day of Jesus' Ascension into Heaven.?

Update, just worked out, the date of the Ascension of Our Lord Jesus Christ in 2007 is May 18th.

Thats the day Oscar will announce his retirement.

You heard it here first folks.

Oscar is way more of a man and more honest than PBF in my oppinion but just when I had high expectations of him changing his ways and cleaning up boxing begin to see the signs of skull duggery and hypocracy as seen with the other promoters.

    Bilbo,

May I ask what all that above means for it does not look very Christian?

Don't let the pearly white million dollar smile fool you. De La Hoya is as ruthless and calculating a businessman as there is. His whole image is carefully managed and manipulated, which is why I don't like him.

Trust me the fight with Mayweather was probably a done deal even before he took the Mayorga fight.

What does De La Hoya have to do with Christianity?

    It's simple.

In Oscars mind, De La Hoya =
