I know it was only three rounds, but Campbell looked old against Bradley. As much as I like Cambell, I think Ortiz stops him.

True, he did look past it, but I also think Bradley has stepped it up a fair bit in the last 2 years too. Few people will look good against Bradley and I see Ortiz being a level or two below Bradley. I can see it being a competitive fight and I'm not sure who takes it.

Oh hell mate Ortiz is more then a level or two below Bradley....He is more like sparring partner good for Bradley...

I just don't think the kid has any heart....IMO they are/were treating him like a Fernando Vargas type prospect where he was fighting way beyond his years but unlike Vargas Victor doesn't like to be hit

Ortiz CAN beat anybody in his weightclass at the same time he is not unbeatable himself. If he just tried to outbox Maidana instead of making it a firefight he could've beaten him. Ortiz has the physicality to be a great fighter.

Campbell is a better boxer,smarter,has bigger brass and has accomplished far more ...but Ortiz is huge and too young w/power compared and is taking Nates 'name' in this carefully planned showcase type fight...Hope to be very wrong.

on paper it would seem that victor ortiz should romp over the aged nate campbell but sadly fights aren't fought on paper. this is a very dangerous fight for ortiz because campbell, when he's really motivated, can be a dangerous fighter for anybody at jr. welter. one things for sure, campbell is probably going to take ortiz into deep waters (late rounds) and we'll then see what ortiz is made of. i still favor ortiz but campbell could very well upset him if he doesn't come in totally focused mentally.
