Also I know the 'experts' say you should test a scent on yourself because everybody's body chemisty is different and it smells differently on each individual. Does anyone know if there is truth to this?
To me it sounds like the kind of elitist artsy bollocks that people 'in the know' would say to make them sound important, as if they have some kind of higher knowledge and experience on the matter and that it's not as simple as just picking the scent that smells nice.
It's the same people who say Acqua Di Gio is generic and a sellout to wear because it is so ubiquitous, whereas I take that to mean it smells nice and girls will dig it, which is, let's be honest the only reason any man would waste his money on such a poofy purchase as perfume.![]()
