Baseball is fucken awesome. 2 years ago even though I watched every game it was like my 4th or 5th favorite sport and last year it exploded and I'm really looking forward to this season. That's not even really talking about the Giants here.

This umpire in the Giants/Braves game is as bad as I've ever seen. For both sides. Giants had this Runtzler (something like that) guy in and he wouldn't give him a strike no matter what he threw. Then Brian Wilson comes in and he's giving him strikes that AREN'T EVEN CLOSE.
The neverending game. Its got Giants win written all over it. We always lose this kind of game.
And we can't get Renteria out.
Peter fucking Moylan! The man.
Takashi Saito is also my new favorite person. He's just a strike throwing machine.
I love our bullpen. Even Wagner although he gave up the tying homer, Renteria's just zoned in but even he looked out of sorts going against Moylan.

Renteria got bone chips cleared out of his elbow and they say he's the proudest guy in the clubhouse, hopefully he keeps hitting .700.
I quit watching after the 14th inning or whatever. We were just following the script. We never win extra inning games, its maddening, the same thing happens everytime (and I'm talking about over a series of years, maybe a decade), every fucking time, we just don't get any hitting and the pitching holds out for a while and then the other time finally scores. I almost didn't even check ESPN.com, it was that inevitable.
Saito was a good player for us last year.
The BoSox did well tonight, Hermida and Pedroia went yard and Varitek hit 2 dingers!
