No disrespect to David Haye but I kinda hope he'll outgrow the Hayemaker promotional outfit sometime soon. I think fighting on David Haye undercards will only get you so far. It's great for now though...

If Groves was with certain other bigger promoters he would have needed 25+ fights before being matched with an Adamu level fighter.

Haye/Booth haven't done a bad job with Haye. He's a crossover star with only 25 fights in the bag. Impressive.

Thats why Haye has been trash talking for all this time.
It's got him noticed, and got him a title shot very early on in his heavyweight career.
Haye will still do all the PR stuff, but I think the level of respect he shows opponents will be much greater in future.

For sure his personality and the fact he's a heavyweight are huge factors in his current fame, but he's also been respected by hardcore Brit fans for years now.

Not only was he taking on guys like Thompson way earlier than expected, he also won his titles away from home and as the "away" fighter on other promoters bills in England. Something similar with Groves will get him huge credit/attention too.

As long as booth mantains a steady relationship with sky id be surprised if he wasnt in with the likes of smith, dodson within the next 12months.

Of course de gale will dodge him like hell as he will any other half decent 160/168pounder

I'm not generally too keen on Adam Booth but one thing I do like is how I've heard him say that there is way too much put on the undefeated record and that there is no shame in losing if you take hard fights, that a loss is not the end. He said that was his message to young fighters. I think thats a pretty damn good message. Plus he seems as good as his word when it comes to George Groves.

Definitely like the look of Groves. I've been on the bandwagon for a few fights now. Smith wants nothing to do with him and you know how keen Warren will be to put him in with De Gale anytime soon. Maybe they get to fight two or three years down the line.

Saw Groves win and he was really impressive and measured cannot believe he has only fought 9 times. Quality fighter.
