Floyd says of himself that he is "an entertainer period". Absolutely, the Baldomir fight was the finest example of boxing entertainment ever. That one had me really on my toes. Playing it safe and toying with a blown up Marquez had me ready to explode with wonder and delight too. I respect Floyd a lot as a fighter, but is he heck an entertainer. Arturro Gatti was what I call an entertainer. Someone who let it all hang out in the ring and even if he lost he gave you your money's worth. Floyd does just enough and with his defensive style is never going to be an entertainer in the way a boxer should be. As much as I respect Floyd, I actually find him quite boring to watch, especially when he's in fights that are poorly matched like Marquez and Baldomir.

Sorry for the little rant, but that comment just bugged me a little.

Talking up a rematch with Shane is Floyd talking out of the side his mouth. It's like a code done through the media for a message directed at Pacquiao. its the equivalent of "Drop the suit.. And if cows had wings, they'd be able to fly. Floyd DID retire... and you don't hang on to a mythical title (or any other title) when you're off Dancing With the Stars or fighting Big Show. Now that he's back gracing us with his presence, he can earn the damn title back, just like anybody else would have to do. Even MORE simple.

It has nothing to do with being a hater or lover of either man...Manny fighting WW fighters would be like Floyd fighting Middleweights....I can't say I would see Floyd signing to Fight Pavlik, or AA when he was there
