From the outset something in the back of my head did not like this for Cotto.Givens are Foremans size,weight,he is seemingly hitting his stride in confidence and exposure,these guys are going in opposite directions and my god man....he is a boxing fool!Not always fun,TV friendly ,right.As pure a boxer out there with little regard in changing style,making fans sleepy and just stick and move all night.

Their were mentions of Cotto going up to 154 after the Margarito fight and I just dont think he belongs there in size.He fights squate and square more and more,especially when going to ropes.Not to mention hes off of some serious wars and taxing fights in with Margarito,Clottey and Pacquiao...the Jennings and Gomez fights were borderline sparring sessions.I seriously think his people are putting WAY to much emphasis on Foreman dismal ko percentage here and its just a terrible style for him I believe.Foreman will not sit down and engage unless he absolutely has to and unlike his most recent meaningful fights Cotto will have to walk forward and hunt.Foreman has deceptive angles...he backs up but can also shift off and turn guys.I think his best chance is to keep shorter pursuing Cotto at range and just tenderize his thin skin and will no doubt open cuts...not to mention Foreman is very prone to causing head butts in there and natural strength on inside will allow him to tie up,maneuver Cotto.One step ahead as it goes rounds and having Cotto reaching in a lurch looking to get off.Foreman has hand speed and while not a puncher,is a sharp hitter....think 10 fast golfballs hitting your face as opposed to one bowling ball.

The Santos fight was impressive and maybe over highlighted Foremans hands and movement just a little bit because Santos came in looking as if he was in his third trimester and moved like a sloth but the tools were apparent.While a tub of goo Santos still possessed power and he unleashed everything very early,Foreman just kept his head and took what came.He does not get rattled...by booing fans or rough tactics mostly.Hey,I could be totally wrong...I love Cotto and want him to have a huge night.Just have a bad feeling.
