The whole David Haye hype reminds me a lot of the Ricky Hatton hype from a few years back.

The similiarites are uncanny.

Beat an old Russian for the title... Tszyu for Hatton, Valuev for Haye.
Fight an old ex champion to gain more recognition and hype. Castillo for Hatton, Ruiz for Haye.

The banter on here from the Haye fans is similiar to the Hatton fans back then also. It was all about how Hatton would beat up PBF, too strong, etc. Floyds ducking Hatton etc.

Then we saw what happened.

I have a sneaking suspicion it might end the same for Haye.
