Funny how people are talking all the Haye KO's Wlad bullshit yet none want to keep in mind Haye has a soft chin himself and Wlad hits a hell of a lot harder then anything Haye has ever faced....

We have never seen an angry aggressive Wlad...Wlad is always well controlled....Take that poise and add well controlled anger behind it and Haye is in trouble...As anyone else....

I would like someone to explain to me how Haye manages to keep off an attacking Wlad who is looking just to take his head off?..

Haye isn't that strong and he isn't that good of a counter puncher...Certainly can't rely on his defense...

I'm sorry to say I don't see that happening for at least 10 rounds.

I actually think the fight would be VERY anti climactic. Neither fighter would want to take any risks and Wlad would win with his jab alone.

I know people seem to think it could be a barnburner but I highly highly doubt it. We saw how cautious Haye was against Valuev and Wlad is almost as big and twice as dangerous.

Plus we've seen how cautious Wladimir is agiainst everybody.

They will barely throw a meaningful punch between them for the first 6 rounds imo.

The knockout may come, and it may be brutal, but it will be an end of fight affair like against Tony Thompson or Eddie Chambers imo, Wladmir isn't about to throw caution to the wind and open up on the most dangerous opponent he has faced since Sam Peter until there is literally nothing coming back, just not happening.

And David Haye, for all his macho speak of knocking their heads off knows it's a suicide mission to try and engage head on with them. He'll fight the way he did against Valuev, looking to keep out of the way and dart in and out scoring punches. But Wlad's jab will nullify him and he'll just be like everyone else backed up in the corner and unable to get close.

He may hit a bit harder than most of the other heavies but in terms of beating either Klitschko he brings nothing to the table that the other guys have brought. He'll go the same way.

For the record, the fighter with the best chance to upset them is Odlanier Solis...

When they were going to fight the first time Wlad said he wanted to take Haye 12 rounds to inflict the maximum long term damage on him. Maybe the Chambers fight was practice for that.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

Wlad is saying he'll knock Haye out in the 12th round. I don't remember Wlad running his mouth for nothing in the past. I don't think he's doing it now. I think he means what he says and he is saying it to scare Haye and I think Haye better be scared.

My prediction: Wlad will keep his word. Wlad will punish Haye for 11 rounds then Knock him out in the 12th. Unless Haye sees the writing on the wall and quits first. I don't think Haye has the wind to last 12 rounds with someone beating on him, but I can imagine Wlad holding him up 'til the 12th round if Haye fags out on him.

Fighters as good as Ali and the Klits can predict rounds and get it right more often than not.

Can't believe those two appear in the same sentence??

LOLOL. I've seen what some posters on this thread think about today's hw division, i.e., the Klits' competition. I say the Klits' competition would compare favourably with any of the modern eras. (Let's not go back beyond the '70's, please.)

Ali is my hero, and always will be. But it helps in life if you try to stay somewhat in touch with reality. The athletes of today in all fields stand head and shoulders above those of the past. Heavyweight boxing is no exception.

Do you remember what people thought of Ali in his day? I do. It was much in line with what people on this forum think of David Haye. Most of the people in my part of the country wanted him in jail for dodging the draft.

So, let's watch and see if Klitschko canback up what he has said and "pull an Ali"

ha actually I think it could be very similar to that. I do think a devastating ko like that is a possiblity, but I fully expect it to be preceeded by at least 10 rounds of plodding about the ring with Wlad pawing and Haye covering up.

Let's be clear, this isn't going to be anything Vitali against Lennox Lewis as neither Haye or Wlad can stand up those kind of punches against each other, and importantly, they both know it.

It will be cat and mouse, or more likely grass growing.

More then likely it will play out that way but speaking in terms of just that what will happen if Wlad goes after him like that? He is a great finisher that we have not seen in a long long time...The Wlad before his KO loss to Sanders was brutal in delivering punishment
