I dont think the show ruined any of thier careers, in fact it gave most of them (which were C+ class boxers) some celebrity so now people will pay to see them fight e/o even though they never have a chance to rise to the top of the division.

I'm really disapointed it's not getting a second season. It got a lot of friends of mine interested in boxing and I think that's what boxing needs; to get people to see what it's all about. Especially since it was on NBC, it gave a lot of people a chance to see it. I think instead of putting every big fight on PPV, it would help the sport a LOT if they contracted with a major tv station for some fights. Something like ESPN2's "Friday Night Fights" but with bigger headliners.
