I don’t get your point about only fighting outside Denmark twice. Had Kessler been a better fighter if he had fought ten times outside Denmark? How many times has Calzaghe fought outside England? Twice I guess and the same for Jeff Lacy fighting outside USA.

When you look at Kessler´s early pro career then you have to remember that Kessler was quite young when he turned pro. He was 18 or 19 years old but still he has only 3 guys with a negative record on his resume. The great Calzaghe has 9 or 10 guys with a negative record on his resume.

Kessler had 47 (44 wins) amateurs fight when he turned pro and was still a teenager. Lacy had like 210 fights and was about 24 or 25 years old when he turned pro.
