I don't think Froch's upbringing was that hard going on what he was saying, but having said that I am sure he had his share of rough moments like a lot of British kids do. I don't really see the big issue with what he was saying. Bikes do get stolen and kids do get into fights. You should fight for your bike, though I always made sure I had a lock. It makes life that bit easier. I admit that I did cringe a little when he was talking about blacks and mixed race people, but he was answering the question and that might well be his perception. I've never been to Nottingham, but I'm sure there are some ethnic minorities causing social problems. But you also know there are a lot more white people doing exactly the same things. So, yeah, that bit was a bit shakey, but on the whole I don't see the big deal. Froch always comes across to me as quite funny, but in a wholly unintentional way. He has the touch of Alan Partridge about him. He will say things and it will just crack me up.
