I was too afraid to ask.

ame is a good word, we can place T or L in front of it, for their fight.

    Very true.

But Hopkins and Jones are in their 40's.

So I def did not expect them to compete like Hagler and Hearns who were in their near primes when they fought.

Although this fight was foul filled, I thought it was a good fight. If you watch it as the fight went on, I thought it was pretty amazing what Jones was able to do in this fight. Round 5 and rounds 8-10 were like vintage Jones. Hopkins outworked Jones in the first 4 rounds, but he had many more fouls that Jones. Jones fought a cleaner fight and hurt Hopkins.

Me neither. I just didn't think they should have competed at all. To me. it was like Botha-Holly--or Hill-LaLonde--or Cotzee-Barkley. What did it prove? And the PPV figures seem to bear this thinking out to some degree.

Iran Barkley vs. Gerry Coetzee was the greatest display of heavyweight boxing skill I have ever witnessed !
