Read this on fightnews earlier on, I think I've read stories about him having problems with alcohol etc recently, but it's an absolute tragedy for her family more than any impact on boxing, although as was mentioned a waste of talent from yet another boxer not being able to keep it together (if it proves he is guilty, of course.)

If it's true (which I don't doubt knowing his past with domestic violence), it's utterly a tragedy for the girls family... I am certain her family did warn her at some point that it was leading to a tragedy as it's not the first time.. as for Edwin, he chose to screw up his life bad, he had tons of problems and didn,t get away with it tptally so to speak, he should have seen the warning in the sky.

Its a loss for the boxing world to lose a good champion on the verge of some big fights if all this is true which it looks like it is atm.

But the bigger loss is for Valero's wifes family and friends.
