This whole Valero thing is a tragedy....First it is sad that a professional fighter killed his wife...A mother of children,,,the Daughter of 2 hard working people...A sister...

I mean MAN that is some tragic tragic shit....

There is NO excuse for what happened..NONE I mean Alcohol played a big part in this and possibly other things unknown to us..

There is no forgiving Valero for what he did...But to add to the tragedy this man hung himself...He obviously knew what he did was wrong...He obviously had remorse to the point he could not bear....

These kids have not only lost a Mother murdered by their Father but they will now have to live with the fact their Father committed suicide......

There is NOTHING GOOD ABOUT THIS AND NO JUSTICE CAME FROM VALEROS DEATH!!!! NO ONE IS RELIEVED IN HIS FAMILY I AM SURE OR HIS WIFES BY WHAT HE DID TO HIMSELF....

I mean shit regardless of what happened this man is ALSO someones son...Someones Father.....

I read shit on the other threads about...Hope he kills himself...Good he killed himself...

The we have ASSHOLES MAKING JOKES LIKE

"Valero murders next opponent, then chokes under pressure."

WHAT A FUCKING SCUMBAG!!!!!

YOU ARE AS BAD IF NOT WORSE THEN VALERO BECAUSE YOU FIND HUMOR IN THIS!!!! WHAT IS SO FUCKING FUNNY!!!!!! IF YOU WERE IN FRONT OF ME I WOULD CHOKE YOU!!!!!

I am not going to call anyoner out and mention their names on the LOW CLASS comments made by them...they know who they are and anyone can look for the post themselves if they are that curious but FUCK man..

I fail to see the humor in 2 people dead one murdered the other by their own hand leaving families to suffer the not only loss of them but the indignities of this being publicized world wide....

It is a sad sad day not for boxing but in general....

But that is FUNNY!!!!....It was Cool and tough to post shit like I hope he dies etc......

I hope this never happens to one of you FUCK HEADS...And if GOD FORBID you do have to endure some tragedy like this..BECAUSE I WOULD WISH THIS ON NO ONE!!!!!!! I hope you never have to read comments like these...hear comments like these or be publicly humiliated the way these people are right now....

AND IF the person was that bad to the point they deserve no sympathy not for what they did but just for being human beings..One who was obviously tormented by demons through addiction or maybe some sort of mental disability (we don't know) I would at least feel a bit of empathy for the families and not use this as a way to amuse myself or try to be the forum joker hoping for some rep for my scumbag of a joke!!!

This type of behavior is something reserved for child molesters and murderers or children
I feel bad for your families!!!
Exactly man, I pointed this out in the thread about his suicide, that some members are being very quick to slam the guy without knowing all the facts (I can see I've been met with criticism, but I'm not bothering to reply at the risk of starting an unnecessary sh*tstorm in there). As I say, we don't know him personally, all we know is what comes through the media and his in ring character. It's impossible to make a character assessment solely on those insights... Hell, some psychologists can't even make character assessments on people they sit down and talk to on a regular basis for years.

What Valero did was wrong, nobody can deny that. A young woman is dead by his hand and that fact will not change. BUT, Valero is a guy who suffered severe trauma to his head in the past and has continued to get hit in the head ever since that happened. Now, no matter what way you twist that one up, it is an extremely worrying situation. There is a high possibility that he has not been of sound mind in recent times... then again he may be fine, but the fact is, we should not judge one way or another. Saying the guy deserved to die, that he should go to hell etc etc... It's just as bad as applauding his actions. Potential brain injuries should not be taken lightly!

As someone who has studied Neuropsychology, I know only too well the tragic results that can come about as a result of someone who suffers trauma to the head. It reminded me of a story my professor once told me about a guy who was perfectly fine until one day getting hit by a car, resulting in brain injuries and a downward spiral of deteriorating mental health that would eventually lead to him setting fire to his house, killing himself, his Mother and his sister all in one go.

I'm not saying for certain that Edwin was in the same state of mind, but the fact is we don't know either way. Like I said, brain injuries are as complex as it gets.

Lets try to keep our cool people.
