Ok as it seems some people insist they do actually do this, I'm still baffled.

    WHY do you do it?

I mean, it can't be for entertainment right? I mean sitting watching anything in silence is no fun at all, just the atmosphere is all gone.

So I'm guessing you are doing it in order to study a fight round by round to come to an accurate assessment of what happened. But again, WHY?

I mean who cares, it's just entertainment, why do you need to go over it like it's some serious scientific analysis. Who are you trying to convince? I mean do you think if you are arguing on here about a decision, that somehow studying a fight in this manner gives you more credibility when you tell your verdict?

Or do you just need to know from a personal perspective that you have studied the fight in the most intimate detail and so your score is completely accurate?

Of course, it wouldn't be accurate anyway, as the whole point of judging a fight is that the judging is done live whilst watching and listening to the fight (I know the judged can't hear the commentary team). Judges, or the commentators don't get a chance for a second viewing in hindsight when making their decisions, so how is it fair that you statto's do?

You should make your decision on the night, live like the judges have to do, because that is how a fight is scored.

Anyway, that's just my two cents

Because it's a personal preference for some people.
I don't like to listen to shit commentary because it's annoying to me for the most part. And who cares what one person likes to do.

You do your own thing another man does his. What works for you doesn't work for another man.

You've changed a mind here today, Bilbo. Never again will I rewatch a fight with the sound down to get some kind of "edge" in fair scoring.

    I'm not bullshittin' you. I'm a convert.
