According to boxrec - Tilleman hasn't reffed a fight since 2005 and had not left Belgium since the Reid fight.
I guess the powers that be realised he was not cut out for reffing.

To bad he's judging not reffing. Froch is dirty as fuck I imagine his gameplan is to hit Kessler in the face (from what I know of Froch, that might be his actual gameplan, seriously) and Tilleman for sure wouldn't allow such tactics.
