Some people are reading an awful lot into a few words from some reporter. As far as we know Haye and Junior are currently negotiating a fight. At the outset Team Haye were making sure publicly that they wouldn't accept less than a 50/50 split. It's unlikely that Team Junior will have agreed to this immediately, so seeing as how they're still at the stage of making offers and counteroffers and seeing how Junior is, as Fenster has pointed out, publicly chasing Haye, then Team Haye are just negotiating through the press here. I'm sure if Junior agreed to a 50/50 split tomorrow Haye would decide he's had enough rest thank you and let's get the fight on. It's all about the money, it's not whether one guy is scared of fighting another.

Completely correct. At least someone is upto date with events.

Negotiations started last Thursday between Booth and the Klitschko camp.

David Haye is on holiday and Booth always handles the negotiations.

I had wondered why we hadn't heard anything yet - maybe the volcanic ash that has stopped anyone flying in Northern Europe until today had something to do with it. (Haye will probably get blamed for the volcano erupting )

As for the original article - looks like its 'sour grapes' by Mr. Davies as Booth didn't give him the exclusive that he was hoping for. Skysports news will be the 1st to know, not some London broadsheet.

Negotiations must be going pretty well as no news after a week.

Couldn't have said it any better myself. Negotiations are ongoing. People read way too much into what these so called journalists say.

As for the volcano erupting, it was Hayes fault..... ask Lyle!!
