I merely commented on his return to boxing and given the lack of depth and consistency of the heavyweight division (outside of The Klitschkos) I merely stated that an in shape Kirk Johnson would prove to be an interesting matchup for some contenders and journeymen, I never even said Johnson would win. He talks endless shit, was given MULTIPLE opportunities to back it up and failed to do so. He has now been called out by THE Heavyweight Champion of the World Wladimir Klitschko and this flimsy response from his trainer/manager is all we get.....well that and his trainer saying that "We're (trainer and his charge) not sure who the real champion is and maybe we need to find that out before we fight Wlad or Vitali"

As I mentioned in another thread, I met Steve Bunce last week and among other things he mentioned that Freddie Roach's team had called David Haye and effectively said something along the lines of 'well Adam, you've done a nice job with him, we'll take it from here'. Obviously Booth told them to fuck off. Anyway, Booth felt that this had been partly instigated by this journalist Davies, who has very close ties with Roach (he apparently basically acts as his UK mouthpiece). So he was pretty pissed off at both of them and it's apparently not a new thing with how he feels about Davies/Roach and them trying to take Haye away from him.

On the basis of that I'll let it go, but I like everyone else would be disgusted if Haye doesn't actually fight one of the brothers, especially with that shit he came out with about Mayweather/Pacquiao being a fight that needs to happen for the sake of the sport. Those in glass houses etc...

I'm not defending Haye and I definitely don't think Wlad is ducking him, but Haye clearly pulled out of the fight becuase the TV company with rights to the fight was about to go bankrupt and he wouldn't have got paid. He had to use an injury as an excuse. It turned out to be a wise decision becuase Setanta did go bust before the date of the fight
