Actually, Guevara was quite a nice guy who stood for his ideas. I am by no mean a Guevara powerboy but he really cared about the people and fight for good values, he even mocked the USSR at the UN meeting, angrying Castro, because to him, they have had become exactly what they did preach against. He was sure not perfect on all the line, nobody is, however, I think that it is a bit excessive to "hate him for what he stood".
