Peter Schmeichel must be the Danish Paxman nowadays! Wasn't exactly a grilling, and for all the talk about it in the post-fight interview I think Schmeichel fancies pregnant birds.

Didn't get the PPV, played FIFA whilst listening to it on 5 live, but from what Buncey and the crew there were saying Kessler just about deserved the win, but the crowd had widened the scoring. Buncey had it even giving two of the earlier round that were fairly even to Froch as he was champion.

Amended the title for those American viewers who may be watching the delayed feed over there.

Thought Kessler won by about 3 rounds myself. First half of the fight was nip and tuck, but I think Froch got more ragged from the mid-point on.
Both fighters had each other slightly hurt at different points I think, but both refused to get on their bike for safety.












Oh wait, I forgot Carl doesn't have a bike anymore... nevermind.

that judge tilleman (soring 117 - 111) is the same guy who used to ref sven ottke fights and protect his unbeaten record the guy is on of the most corrupt things in the sport....

Froch is a bit stuipis really. I thought it was common knowledge that if you want to win in someone else's back yard you need to beat them decisively and not leave anything to chance. Froch tried to nick it. Very bad tactics.

I think froch is in trouble now, a fight like that takes alot out of you and he's got abraham next who I think is probably tougher then kessler.

Oh well I'm two for two on my predictions.....

Thats what I been thinking Froch has had three very hard fights in 18 months, Pascal,Taylor and Kessler he is al so nearly 33, this will catch up with him, the last fight you want after this is against a hard bastard like Abraham.

I think Froch showed signs of slowing down a little bit last night, his output in the middle rounds was not like him especially against a guy like Kessler who come in in straight lines.

I'll say it again, I had it a draw or very close. 117-111 was out of line even with the close rounds. Kessler looked banged up after the fight. That cut was deep and will take a long time to heal.
