Havent seen the fight by the reactions on the 117-111 card its sounds like kessler may of got the same judge that gave him 120-108 vs Mundine (no fuckin way he won every round in that fight).

117-111 would not be a bad score for either fighter to win. THere were sooo many close rounds, that if favor one fighter in those rounds, it would give you a wider score.

I personal scored it for Kessler by a couple of rounds. Froch was just too complacent.

I need to watch the fight properly as I missed a few of the later ones and was on a stream. Kessler looked to be taking over when I lost things, but by the time I was back Kessler was cut and apparently Froch was edging his way back.

Need to watch again methinks. It might well have been close. I did have it even after 6.

That was Mudine's best fight IMO, even though he lost. I can't really remember, but I think I had it something like 116-112 Kessler.

Froch is tough ,but one paced and limited , he was outworked by a fighter who had the chin to take his punches and the better workrate.
Froch for me doesnt have the speed for the hands down style at this level.
I dont rate Kessler that highly either.

I think that is bang on. I've said that before a while back. Kell Brook is another that has the same sort of drawback for me. Always gonna get shown up when the opposition is upped. Disapointed for froch though, I thought he was gonna beat Kessler up. Kessler showed plenty to keep on going for the 12 and has certainly got more to offer the tournament than I thought he did.
