i think that a fight between Adamek and Peter would probably be good
Idk if I compare the Adamek/Arreola fight with the Klitschko/Arreola fight, it looks real bad for Adamek. Klitschko would kick his ass.
Adamek should try to fight a Haye. The question is who first? How about another fight against Banks? If he could get past Banks he would deserve a title shot.
Would Samuel Peter be interested in fighting Adamek? Would Adamek have a chance?
He really did well in keeping his head and being smart with Arreola.I really though he would get sucked into a give and take once he was stunned but impressed with his focus. He put shots together very well but showed he could be rocked whenever he stayed still, and Arreola while a big puncher cant put combos together to save his life.Arreola gets a lot of shit and some deserved but he was as good as hes going to be,there will never be a "in shape Arreola".They dont exist. If he was 225 it wouldnt make a world of difference...its his mentality and fighting style that gets him where he is.Haye/Adamek would be a great fight. Both offer much needed shots to the division and worked their way past the "blown up cruiser" label.Their legit...and I like Haye to beat him close.
Adamek has already done more then most in his short time...More then Haye has anyhow by fighting and beating a top 10 ranked HW...This was what his 2 or 3rd HW fight?....Unlike Haye who rested on his CW morals to get his shot..
I would like to see him fight 2 or 3 guys who will make him work but not be in danger of beating him so he can get used to the HW punches....In the Arreola fight he looked so light in the clinches he was getting a bit handled so maybe either Chris is stronger then we think or Tomaz is not quite comfortable yet at the weight....
No matter what I like the guy and think this is good for HW boxing...Getting more quality guys who are not massive and can make some good fights...
Too bad Sultan retired...
I like Adamek. He's a breath of fresh air in a division that sorely needs it. Unfortunately, he ain't got the size to hang with the Klitschkos, and he's destined to be yet another one of the bunch. Still waiting for that HW that can put fear in the heart of the Klitschkos.
Adamek has some surprisingly nice defense, not saying he's a defensive master but he turns his head nicely into punches...I honestly don't think he was rocked or hurt to much by arreola's punches it's just that the force of them simply pushed him back...I don't think he can take either klitschko though , would love to see him in with haye, which would be a hell of a close fight probably, or povetkin which could be a war with adamek taking it late...last nights fight was the most exciting hw fight I've seen since lykovich brewster
Cant argue with that
He should progress with his attempt to build solid muscle as he sure as hell didnt look like a natural 217pounder saturday night almost being dwarfed by arreolas flab.
Some tune up fights with the likes of chagaev, chambers etc before moving on to the big boys ie:wlad, vitali, haye
I'm not really that excited in him to be honest. I mean he's like a lot of others, capable of beating everybody aside from the Klitschko's, but it's a massive gulf between him and Wlad or Vitali.
He's best off targeting David Haye, against either of the brothers he just loses a dull one side decision, or else gets stopped late.
I think he knocks out David Haye though which would be fun.
But the trouble with the heavyweight division is that talent wise you have the Klitschko's on top like this
Wlad
Vitali
and then the rest are way down here. Worse still the one sided beat downs the brothers will put on them are in no way fun to watch either so really what you essentially have is a second tier, almost like a heavyweight championship lite going on.
None of them excite me really because they are all pretty mediocre.
I think Odlanier Solis will prove to be the best of them but that's dependant on him taking his weight under control, which is no sure thing.
